Approach
I am a therapist trained to listen, nurture and collaboratively work with clients who want to learn about themselves, be more emotionally present, build healthier relationship to self and others, and to cope more effectively. Using a client-centered, strength based, EFT(Emotionally focused therapy) and evidence based CBT(Cognitive Behavioral therapy), I have worked with adults, children and adolescents and the senior population to help dealing with issues related to family conflict, relationships, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ, stress, and end of life issues
About Me
I was born in Seoul, Korea, and trained in Germany as a classical musician. Traveled around 25 countries giving concerts and master classes for many years. As a therapist, I am highly interested in how our brain works on music, that is comparable to obsession and substances. In my free time, I play golf as a long time beginner for more than 10 years. Never good yet I’m a happy golfer. Also, I am privately doing jazz improvisation to challenge my attention and concentration capability. Still primitive but being hopeful to get better sometime.
