Practicum/Internship Master of Science Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Reality Therapy while integrating strengths-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused techniques. I believe in meeting each individual where they are and tailoring the therapeutic process to their unique needs, concerns, and goals.
Creating a safe, supportive environment is at the heart of my work. I want you to feel empowered in this process—to build self-awareness, foster personal growth, and mindfully explore meaningful change. I believe uplifting the individual through collaboration, empowerment, healing, and transformation is possible.
Sessions are client-led. You are welcome to set the direction based on what feels most urgent or important. If you’re unsure where to start, that’s okay, too; a few simple questions can help us get the conversation flowing. Therapy is often a winding journey, full of unexpected insights and growth.
When appropriate and helpful, I also incorporate mindfulness, deep breathing, or meditation practices into sessions. Together, we will create a space where you feel safe to explore, reflect, and heal.
Originally from Arizona, I was born and raised in a small town thirty miles west of Phoenix. As an adult, I have traveled and lived in many different places with my family, met many other people in various places, and immersed myself in multiple cultures.
Because of my experiences, I deeply value understanding different worldviews, perspectives, and individuality. I recognize that each person’s journey is unique, and I strive to honor that by creating a therapeutic space where you feel seen, heard, and respected.
This belief informs my eclectic, client-centered approach and fuels my commitment to meeting you exactly where you are.
